Popular things that I honestly don’t like:
David Tennant as the Doctor (To each their own I guess)
- zombies
- dystopian literature
- steampunk (In full disclosure, I used to have a thing for it, but then I got out of my goth phase.)
- Matt Smith as the Doctor
- The Office (American version)
Popular thing that I do like? NUTELLA.
This is one of the hardest lessons for humans to learn. We cannot admit that things might be neither good nor evil, neither cruel nor kind, but simply callous – indifferent to all suffering, lacking all purpose.
– Richard Dawkins (via aaliashan) Via the [blog] remains the sameIt will happen to all of us, that at some point you get tapped on the shoulder and told, not just that the party’s over, but slightly worse: the party’s going on — but you have to leave. And it’s going on without you. That’s the reflection that I think most upsets people about their demise. All right, then, because it might make us feel better, let’s pretend the opposite. Instead, you’ll get tapped on the shoulder and told, “Great news! This party’s going on forever – and you can’t leave. You’ve got to stay; the boss says so. And he also insists that you have a good time”.

Also, now I have a way of messing with people. Mwahahahaha
how can people stand listening to music through one ear bud?
it’s like listening to half a song sometimes because sometimes different sounds come from each ear bud.

I suppose myths will always use myths to try and prove that they are not myths.. =P
Here’s why doing so makes you an idiot:
- Einstein never said such things, and he was an agnostic with Jewish heritage.
- The author of this crock of shit story had basically no understanding of science, and basically every argument was a…
I’m beginning to realize something.
I agree. I have seen the same reaction. I myself, can’t even think about celebrating the murder of anything (regardless of how despicable the man was… he was sadly a product of our system [as a collective]). I suppose it also has something to do with the fact that we take things for more than face value…
While people celebrate the defeat of one of our enemies, I find it pathetic that we still have enemies. That we still have wars
Now what would be worth celebrating? well if we could end wars through understanding not force… though I fear that won’t be happening for quite a while..
My atheist/skeptic friends are largely unnerved by the trivialization of bin Laden’s death. My Christian friends are largely whooping it up. I guess if you believe in divine retribution and reward, and in a life after death, it’s easy to have a cavalier attitude toward death. But when you believe it’s the end, THE END, you take death a little more seriously.
